Dad touched a lot of lives over the years. Some of you were students in classes he taught. Others were co-workers in industry or ministry. Some of you shared conversations over coffee (or ice cream) in the living room or on the porch. His friends and family are spread across the country and even the globe. I think this site would please him because he loved to bring people together to talk and laugh and remember. So please feel free to share your memories with us as we will with you.

Nanuet Church

The Carrs may have been late to
Sunday School but we always made
up for it by being the last ones out of
the sanctuary. From Sunday School to
mid-week Bible Study and Youth Group
to choir practice, it felt like we lived here.

A Prayer of Thanks

Dear Lord,

I want to thank you for Don.
Thank you for his life and what he meant to me.

Thank you for his life with Peg.
Thank you for Chris, David, Rick, Dale and Amy.

Thanks for giving Don & Peg a home in Monsey, NY.
Thank you that this home was a place where your love was known and expressed.
Thank you for such gracious hospitality in Don & Peg’s home.
Thanks for all the New Years Eve parties.
Thank you for their kitchen table. For all the conversations and that there was room for me.

Thank you for the mind that you gave Don to seek for truth. Truth about the Universe and the way you made it. Truth about Yourself and the way you made him.
Thank you Jesus…for your life that was formed in Don.
Thank you for Don’s willingness and availability to engage me in conversation about anything.

Thank you for the blessing that has been mine and others through an enduring relationship with Don, Peg, and their family.

Andy
